Feel-eye-ish-back!

Just a small post!

In the present democrazy scene happening in India, every politician - ruling / non-ruling/ in the making/ just baking/ (fill in the blanks) kissing/ simply missing - seems to defend their positions on current matters by going back and back... everytime... they are stung by a bee-like question. yes! the flashbacksssssss....

Anyhow... this flashback reminds me of the movie "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" where Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp) keeps on having regular flashbacks one day while showing a group of children, each with a parent, his chocolate factory. And listening these tv-coverage-hungry people fight it out on news channels, and dragging each other too far into the past reminds me of one particular scene from the movie:

"Willy Wonka: I'm sorry, I was having a flashback.
Mr. Salt: I see.
Mr. Teavee: These flashbacks happen often?
Willy Wonka: Increasingly... today."

Every damn character out there is talking talking talking.... without any sense... those who have sense aren;t able to justify... those who are justifying have no sense... every self appointed civil society member thinks just coz a camera is staring into them (or vice versa), so they are the kings of the world! Speak sense and stop simply talking! lokpal - jan lokpal... ya kisi aur ko pal! lekin bakwaas band kar

And speaking of flashbacks... you need to know that various institutions of like have failed the test of times... e.g. accountability commissions in various states are a big failure... no further comments! too much of it around has already caused a headache to every normal <actual civil> society member.

On a lighter note to end this random post... i just had a flashback this evening... seeing KBC season 5... Amitabh Bachhan is one person who has not at all lost the charm... seeing him host this season reminds me of the first season... there is no less excitement in public as it was before to watch him... the energy.. the talent... the persona... seriously... "Buddha Hoga Tera Baap"!
